PAB's new generation visior shields are made from high-performance plastic called Ultrason® E2010 HC (High Clarity). Extreme temperature resistance is combined with excellent visual purity. New material has been developed by world's leading chemical company BASF.

The new high-performance plastic Ultrason® E2010 HC has been tested and evaluated as highly efficient material for our new generation visiors. This highly transparent HC variant (HC = high clarity) of this material for the visor proves to be very heat-resistant and we have decided to use it for the next generation of firefighter’s helmet, the FIRE HT 04. BASF company claims that this is the first commercial application for this new type of plastic.
